Object name Mt. Erebus
Caption The most recent eruption of Mt. Erebus was on September 13, 1984 when the mountain suddenly became energized, throwing bombs up to a mile and a half from the caldera. Many boulders were refrigerator-sized, and some measured up to 30 feet long.
