American Polar Society The American Polar Society brings together people interested in research and exploration in the Arctic and Antarctic. Its purpose is to preserve the history and to encourage new research and exploration in the polar and polar-like regions.

United States Antarctic Program. The United States Antarctic Program (USAP) supports scientific research in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.

The IPY - The International Polar Year. 2007 - 2008
This is a huge scientific program with scientists, educators and students from more than 60 countries of the world taking part, and focusing on both the North and South Poles.

Antarctic Philately. This is a great place to see and buy stamps commemorating Antarctica and also stamps from the heroic age of Antarctic exploration.
